As large apartment buildings are constructed, large quantities of people begin flocking to the city to live. They rent out the apartment buildings are demand for food and essentials is established. Eateries and restaurants begin to pop up everywhere to meet the demand. As the supply increases, costs go up, which in turn boosts employer salaries.
